The Big Brother Naija Season 5 officially started on the 19th of July 2020 and the Housemates have been ushered into the house. In this article, you will get to meet and know the BBNaija 2020 housemates that will get you glued to your television for the period it’s going to last.

Following the huge success of the fourth season of Big Brother Naija, not just in Nigeria but across Africa; The reality tv show has recognized that it resonates with its customers and as part of its aim to provide viewers with exciting local content that they love, BBNaija decided to bring back the show for a fifth season for its customers.

BBNaija season 5 has Betway as the new headline sponsor and Guinness as Gold sponsor. Auditions for this season’s Big Brother Naija held online only via the Africa Magic website on Wednesday, May 20 till Saturday, May 30th, 2020. The auditions were open to interested male and female participants who are of Nigerian nationality, 21 years or older by June 1, 2020, with a valid Nigerian passport and this article will let you know their identity.

BBNaija Season 5 Grand Prize

The winner for this season’s BBNaija will go home with a whopping N85m grand prize which includes a N30m cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy RevolutionPlus Property; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost; a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller and a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.

This year’s edition is known as the “Lockdown” edition.

Consultant and entrepreneur Ozoemena “Ozo” Chukwu (27), is from Imo State

  • Vee

Victoria “Vee” Adeyele (23) is a musician based in Lagos, Nigeria. She was born and raised in London and moved to Lagos almost a year ago

  • Prince

Nelson Enwerem Prince (24) is an entrepreneur from Abia. He’s a graduate of pure physics from the University of Calabar and is currently living in Lagos.

  • Lilo

Boluwatife “Lilo” Aderogba (23) is a dietitian from Lagos, Nigeria

  • Wathoni

Florence Wathoni Anyansi is a 29-year-old fashion entrepreneur

  • Tochi

Tochukwu Okechukwu Tochi is a 28-year-old rapper and real estate agent from Imo state

  • Ka3na

Kate “Ka3na” Jones (26) is an entrepreneur from Rivers, Nigeria

  • Erica

Ngozi “Erica” Nlewedim (26) is an actress and commercial model from London, England

  • Eric

Eric Akhigbe (24) is a final year student at the University of Lagos and hails from Edo State

  • Brighto

Ezekiel Bright “Brighto” Osemudiame is a 29-year-old sailor from Edo State

  • Kaisha

Aisha Umaru is a 25-year-old entrepreneur from Sokoto state

  • Neo

Emuobonuvie “Neo” Akpofure (26), popularly referred to as Neo, is a ride-hailing app driver and a Delta State native

  • Tolanibaj

Tolani Shobajo is a 27-year-old media personality from Lagos state

  • Laycon

Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe is a 26-year-old singer and rapper from Lagos.

  • Nengi

Rebecca “Nengi” Hampson (22) is an entrepreneur from Bayelsa State, Nigeria

  • Dorothy

Dorothy Bachor is a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Lagos

  • Kidwaya

Kiddwaya is a 27-year old entrepreneur from Benue State.

  • Lucy

Lucy Essien is a 30-year-old entrepreneur from Lagos.

  • Trickytee

Timmy Sinclair is a 35-year-old creative artist from Bayelsa State

  • Praize

Praise Nelson is a 28-year-old dancer from Enugu.

The presenter for this season’s show remains Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, a former housemate in Big Brother Nigeria show back in 2006 and host of the last three seasons of BBNaija – See Gobbe, Double Wahala, and Pepper Dem.
